NOPL-KP10 Gas Line Encasement Works

Bullion Offshore Contracting Ltd successfully delivered TEPNG pipeline intervention project whose
objective was to encase the exposed NOPL Live Gas pipeline at KP10. NOPL gas line is a 42” gas line with
capacity to deliver 300 mmscfd of gas. This section of the pipeline was exposed due to erosion of the
water channel along the river bed.
The scope of work executed commenced with Pre-casting of concrete panels & cover slabs, concrete
cube crushing test, mobilization of personnel, equipment and materials, survey and setting out of land
area, construction of sand embankment, Shoreline protection, stabilization of ground for crane standing
position, excavation around NOPL line , Stress checks for deflection of free spanning pipeline segment,
installation of precast concrete panels, sand filling around NOPL line, placing of cover slab, placing of
sand filling and cobble stones, restoration of river bed, site restoration and demobilization of personnel
and equipment.

Design & Construction of 24m x 42m Workshop with offices / Precast Construction

We carried out the site investigation, Perimeter survey, soil test and Detailed design of 24m x 42m
Workshop with offices and store. This project involved sand filling and reclamation of a swamp location.
Raft foundation was constructed by overcoming a high flow rate of ground water. Workshop building
was delivered on schedule.
Capability in Precast construction of buildings was also demonstrated in part during this project.

Retaining Walls & Jetties

We carried out the Survey, Design and construction of Retaining wall in a swamp location to contain
sand filling used for land reclamation. Same retaining wall also served as a base for the perimeter fence.
Ground beam was constructed as a structure embedded deep into the swampy soil prior to constructing
the buttress walls. This retaining wall was executed on Topline limited Equipment yard.

Land Reclamation Works

We carried out site Survey and Soil test in a swamp location planned for reclamation and property
development. We carried out sand-filling and construction of underground (Subsurface) which was
channeled to a nearby canal. The reclaimed land was allowed to settle prior to construction of internal
road and casting of a stacking area on the reclaimed land.

Installation of 30 Ton Overhead Crane

We carried out construction of Steel support structures made of stanchions runway beam and rail
tracks. Next, we carried out mechanical assembly of crane parts packed and shipped in a container, then
the electrical wiring and programing of the automation and control system.
Upon completion of crane assembly and wiring on the ground, the assembly was lifted my mobile crane
and landed on the steel support structures.
After market services includes periodic maintenance of crane and repair support services.

OML 100 As-Built Design and upgrade planning

Carried out Site visits to the offshore oil block of OML 100 for Laser Scanning and assessing the condition of Platform Structures, piping and equipment on the platforms covering Odudu, Afia, Ime, and Edikan platforms. The scan data was Used to generate an as build model which was subsequently used to carry out As-build design of the existing platforms as the design documents of the platforms could not be found in the archives. The platforms was inspected and assessed for Upgrade repairs planning by Identification of Piping spools and lines to be revamped by Isolation, partial/total shutdown, online repair, cold or hot work. Designs of piping spools and structural steel works was carried out for all piping, Piping supports and structures that was due for sectional replacement, same for corroded Equipment like pumps. Man hour estimation and cost estimation for prefabrication and field installation was carried out, together with a draft work schedule for construction phase.

Bonga Jumper Fabrication

Carried out supervision of several Producer and Water injection Jumpers. Activities executed covers review of Subsea survey data of hub coordinates and design review of jumper designs, jumper materials verification and inspections, Cutting, Fabrication, Hydro test, Lift test, load out and custody transfer of completed Jumpers to the subsea installation vessel operators.
